无锡广播电视台(Wuxi Radio & TV Station)

  无锡广播电视事业起步较早,无锡人民广播电台成立于1949年9月1日,无锡电视台成立于1960年5月1日,无锡有线电视台成立于1992年10月14日,长期实行局台合一体制。1999年6月9日,“三台合一”的无锡广播电视集团成立,为全国首家广电集团。2004年被国家广电总局确定为集团化改革试点单位。2006年被列为江苏省文化体制改革试点单位。2007年底实施“管办分离”改革,组建成立无锡广播电视台(与无锡广播电视集团两块牌子、一套班子)。2008年,深化宣传与经营“两分离”改革,将经营性资源重组,组建无锡广播电视发展有限公司。

  无锡广播电视台拥有新闻、经济、汽车音乐、交通、梁溪之声、都市生活6个广播频率,新闻综合、都市资讯、影视、娱乐、经济、生活6个电视频道,覆盖全市公交、地铁的移动电视频道,《无锡新周刊》(广播电视报)及《风尚BOSS》、《数字视觉》等杂志,无锡城市第一门户网——太湖明珠网,已形成广播、电视、网络、报刊、移动新媒体等全媒体的运行架构和机制。近年来,无锡广电相继获评“全国最具实力城市台”、“全国最具实力市级广播电视(广播)”第一名、“全国区域创新电视媒体十强”等称号,主要频道(率)均入选全国城市“广电地标”第一阵营。集团(台)获得了包括全国五个一工程奖、中国新闻奖、电影“华表奖”、电视“飞天奖”、“金鹰奖”、电视文艺“星光奖”等在内的多个国家级和省级奖项。
无锡广电在做强做优宣传主业的基础上,通过市场化机制,充分整合社会文化资源,建立起以传统广告产业为基础,新媒体、演艺内容、动漫创意、平面及数字出版等新兴产业及资本运作、文化会展、酒店餐饮等相关延伸产业并进的多元化产业结构和体系,实现了传媒文化产业的快速发展。“十一五”期间,集团经营创收保持年均20%左右的高位增长,完成文化产业投资20亿元。2013年集团经营总收入为11.1亿元,利润约2亿元。近十年来,无锡广电技术事业投入累计达6.8亿元,数字化率、网络化水平在国内城市台保持领先。自主开发建设的多功能无线应用客户端“智慧无锡”,作为智慧城市服务市民的重要载体,2014年,用户总数已达到130万。

  集团(台)致力于加强影视文化内容产品建设,繁荣影视精品创作。先后投资拍摄了《盘尼西林1944》、《悲鸿生命》、《锡商》、《路漫漫其修远》等多部精品影视剧或影视片。集团出品的主旋律电视剧《誓言今生》登陆央视一套黄金档,同时段全国电视剧收视率排名第一,并相继荣获第十二届全国精神文明建设“五个一工程”奖和中国电视金鹰奖、飞天奖。影片《不肯去观音》获蒙特利尔国际电影节优秀电影奖。投拍的江苏省首部动画电影《快乐奔跑》荣获第13届“华表奖”优秀动画片奖。

  2011年,总投资5亿元、建筑面积8万平方米的无锡广电传媒中心落成启用,成为具有区域影响力的城市文化地标性工程;无锡数字动漫创业服务中心继一期工程建成投运后,总投资超20亿元的二期工程正在加紧建设中,2014年年底结构封顶。依托无锡广电中心原有建筑建设的“智慧无锡”文化创意园区已进入实质性运作。 
 
   Wuxi started its radio and TV business very early, with the Wuxi People’s Radio Station founded on September 1, 1949,the Wuxi TV Station on May 1, 1960 and the Wuxi Cable TV Station on October 14, 1992. Based on the three stations, Wuxi Radio and TV Group was set up on June 9, 1999, the first of its kind nationwide. The group was listed in 2004 as an experimental unit for market-oriented reforms by the State Bureau of Radio and Television, and in 2006 listed as an experimental unit for cultural system reforms in Jiangsu province. At the end of 2007 the group carried out the reforms aiming at separating the administrative management and focusing on market operation, and as a result, the Wuxi Radio & TV Station formed, sharing with the group the same management team. By deepening the reforms of breaking up the publicity and market operation functions in 2008, the group re-organized its operational assets and established Wuxi BTV Development Co., Ltd.

    Wuxi Radio & TV Station owns 6 radios including News, Economy, Auto Music, Communication, Voice of Liangxi and Urban Life, and 6 TV channels of News, Urban Information, Movie, Entertainment, Economy and Life, in addition to the mobile TV channel that covers the bus and subway systems, Wuxi New Weekly (the radio & TV guide newspaper), the magazines “Fashion Boss” and “Digital Vision”, and the Taihu Pearl web, Wuxi’s largest portal. The Wuxi Radio & TV Station has set up a multi-media operation structure and system that involves radio, TV, web, paper, mobile new media, etc. Wuxi Radio and TV Group has been honored a good number of state and provincial level awards, including the 5-ones Project Award, the China News Award, the Huabiao Film Award, the Feitian TV Award, the Golden Eagle Award, the Starlight TV Art Award and so on.

    While playing a good role as a publicity organization, Wuxi Radio & TV Group has built up a diversified industrial system that is based on the advertising sector and involved in new media, performance, comics and digital publishing,  by means of market-oriented reforms and combination with cultural resources on the market. This helps maintain a fast growth momentum. During the 11th 5-year plan period, the group enjoyed an annual growth rate of about 20% and made a total investment of 2 billion yuan in the cultural sector. Its turnover in 2013 hit 1.11 billion yuan and profit about 200 million yuan. In the past decade a total of 680 million yuan has been put into technical improvement and its digitalization and networking level leads among the domestic city-level radio and TV stations. “Intelligence Wuxi”, a multi-functional wireless application client the group developed wholly on its own has become a web-based information service platform significant for local citizens. Its clients have already reached 1.3 million in 2014.

    The group has been focusing upon the development of video contents and the production of quality film and TV products. It has invested and produced many popular TV plays and films, including “Penicillin 1944”, “Beihong’s Life”, “Wuxi Merchants” , “Long Journey” and the like. Among them, “An Oath for Life”, one of the group’s major production, was played at prime time of CCTV1 and enjoyed the highest audience rating among all TV plays broadcast in the same period of time across the country. This TV series also won quite a number of honors such as the 12th 5-ones Project Award for National Spiritual Civilization Development, the China TV Golden Eagle Award and the Feitian Award. The movie “No Leaving Bodhisattva Guanyin” won the Excellent Film Award on the Montreal International Film Festival. “Happy Run”, the first cartoon film in Jiangsu Province, won the Excellent Cartoon Film Prize on the 13th Huabiao Awards. 

    Wuxi BTV Media Center that cost a total investment of 500 million yuan and covered an construction area of 80,000 ㎡ was put into use in 2011 and became a cultural landmark with regional influence. After inaugurating its Phase 1 project, the Wuxi Digital Cartoon Development Service Center kicked off its Phase 2 construction with an expected investment of over 2 billion yuan, which will top the structure by the end of 2014. Besides, to make full use of its existing buildings, the group has begun the development of the Intelligence Wuxi Cultural Creation Park.
